Howdy all.......long day here...I think I may have driven more miles than Chris for once......although he may have taken the "scenic route" with that new F-550......those are pretty nice.....do you get to keep it?
A quick trip to the valley this morning to take care of a couple things turned into several things which went to quite a few things....they all went well until we went to pick up my car that the wife's son and g/f had borrowed six months ago for "a couple of weeks",,,g/f dumped him, so I get my car back. Whe I pulled out on the road heading for home, by the time I reached 35mph, it shimmied so bad, I could hardly hold the steering wheel. This would have been good information to have before I headed over the mountain...lol....I limped in to Les Schwab in Newberg a little before closing time where they found a front tire with the steel belts showing on the inside. Since the other tires were pretty much wore out, I bit the bullet and they happily put on 4 new tires. Problem solved. It was snowing pretty good on the pass, but it wasn't sticking to the road. Anyway, it's always a good day when you make it home.
Still beats teaching 11 kids all day......I commend you Roy!! Are you going to apply for full time??????
Raining here today in north central Washington. It sure felt like spring yesterday. I gotta tell though, I am not looking forward to the near 100 degree summer weather.
