Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 32° earlier this morning, warming up a little now. Wet and foggy but not nearly as dank as the last several mornings.
No ducks over the decoys this morning. They must still be sitting in the loccer room in the Peoples Republic of Peugene putting liniment on their tale feathers. Besides, it was foggy enough it would have been hard to see them even if they had been sitting on the end of the barrel.
Finished up phase 1 and 2 on the kitchen late last night. Phase 3 & 4 (floor and paint) are going to have to wait for a bit. Now we (I) have until Tuesday night to get some stuff done in the dining room. Time to put on the blindfold and start pitching.

Yes, she has my grandmothers buggy whip and it works just as well now as when I was 6 or 7 and grandma was teaching me that it wasn't a good idea to go play in the creek by myself.

Morning all! Had a heck of a Thanksgiving, Pig went into labor had one then stopped. Pulled two out that were dead and couldn't reach the rest. So I ended up with one little piglet that we are bottle feeding and had to butcher the mom. Up to my arm pits in pork she was about 800 pounds. Sad since she was such a sweet pig always happy and friendly.

Two ducks this morning. They'll be headed for the smoker in a few hours. Now its back to the minor remodel and rearranging so we have a big enough path for the new refrigerator and get the old one out.
Sorry about the sow Andy. Hard to loose a sow that has a good attitude. On the bright side, it sounds like you'll have a "pet" piglet to take up the rug in the front room though.
