My truck had just over 3.25" of rake, which was a little too much for me. Also, getting stuff in and out of the bed is such a PITA vs the last Gen SD. I dropped it a measured 1.25" this afternoon using a 2016 F250 factory block. I can probably live with the height now.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Went out to the farm at O dark thirty this morning and spent some time pass shooting at Ferrari Race Cars...I mean green wing teal. Then we swapped the shotguns out for rifles and headed to the rifle range with a stop at Bi-Mart to replenish our steel shot supply of 12 ga. rounds after our disgusting display of accuracy on the high speed Ferrari's.
Hunting partners 308 Norma mag zero'd in nicely for 100 and 200 yards. That thing kicks just about as bad as anything I've ever shot. One time was enough for me. He shot it 10 times and was done. His shoulder was hurting so bad he didn't even want to shoot the SR-762. But he did brave it out and shot it after I had it zero'd. But he only shot it once.
That is one sweet shooting rifle!
First target obtaining the zero went high right, brought it down, went too far with the windage on the 1/8th MOA Sniper Scope then brought it home.
Established the zero with a couple of different rounds
Thanks Evan. At least I've got a start on getting the "dope" book put together on it.
Now if I can remember to put it down long enough get new zero's a some other rifles, that I was going to do today, but got carried away with the SR-762 so I'm going to be forced to go back to the range tomorrow afternoon. Break my arm........ (That SR-762 has a terrible 1 shot addiction, may need interdiction treatment very shortly)

You have a before and after shot of your truck from the side?
Currently mine only has 1.5" of rake with the rear lift springs and 2.5" leveling kit up front. I'm hoping the stock springs will bring the rear down 1.5-2" and then I can put a smaller leveling kit up front to give it 2" of rake.
Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Sun is breaking out. Not sure how long it will last but it's nice for now.
Went looking for coyotes this morning. They were close, started howling when the RFD siren in Ballston went off, but couldn't coax them out of the woods.
Evening all. Nice day just doing little repair jobs around the place. A few more tomorrow and I'll be back to projects. Unless its dry then I may break out the targets somebody stuck the bug in my ear. Need to make sure all the riffles are still zeroed in just in case. And my range is open for the next two weeks until I move the yaks to it.
