Morning to all and all a good morning. Dragging too much today feeding piglet every hour for the last few days is taking its toll. Got the meet from mom to one of my favorite processors yesterday. Little bit of a drive to Willamina meet but he does some good sausage. Pepper Tree in Albany is great but he wants it boned and I just didn't have the time.
Was thinking I might get to work on the truck this weekend when I was informed the daughter has a basketball tournament. Always something.

Good morning Ford fans. Using an other vacation day.
Andy look at this way if momma was easy going thw piglet should turn out pretty good being hand fed.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Quick morning in the duck blind. Now back to working on the house. This is the Warden's Saturday and she has additional "ideas" I am resisting because the new refer, range and dishwasher arrive bright and early tomorrow morning.

You're getting pretty darn close to home. Let me know when you are headed back to pickup the meat and maybe we can meet at Coyote Joes in Willamina for a cup of coffee.
I've heard good things about Mike but haven't had him cut or process anything for me. The last several animals I've had to cut and wrap, he's been up to his eyeballs in sheep and too backed up. Hunting season I the fall seems to fall right on the ranch / farm peak custom cutting periods as well.
Dan at Frontier in Carlton has award winning processed meats, and does a good job, but has gotten a little spendy.
When everyone was too busy a couple of years ago, I took a deer and an elk to Jacob Mueller Meats in Cornelius. A bit of a long drive as well, but I really liked the way the meat turned out and the price was good too.
Thinking strongly of taking the elk to Mueller's in January, providing we get our elk.
