66 degrees and partly cloudy on its way to 88 here.
My parents just had Home Depot do their roof and got the military discount on it. The installers were a bit messy. They kept throwing scraps in my mom's garden and the trampled their old dog's grave.
Happy Monday.....a whole new week ahead of us. hmmmmmm
I'm helping my cousin today.....then part of this week will be spent getting ready for the Steam Up in Salem the next two weekends.
Enjoy the day!!

Lowe's usually has several local "independent" CCB contractors on a list to do these jobs. Probably not a whole lot unlike Home Depot.
There are a couple of outfits around here that I won't let on the property and they have already been advised of that. Anyone else they send will be vetted thoroughly before anyone does anything.
Cleanup and disposal will be a part of the contract!
Where are these rats at and where are they coming from? If they are coming from outside the foundation, poison should not be a problem, especially the Tomcat.
As to John sounding like a motor boat...it may be time to give up boating. A weak one cylinder "jet" pump isn't going to do much in the waters around here! Especially in the 54° water off the beach. I'm afraid the pucker factor would probably negate any favorable results....

Wear your side arm while taking with the contractor.........
The boys are still alive. It would be a lot more pleasant for me if I hadn't picked up poison oak at work on Thursday. The bottom half of my right (dominant) arm from elbow to wrist is blistered and oozing. That makes it very uncomfortable to hold Owen and feed him, or rest my arm on anything. I've got an old towel on the arm of the recliner to soak up the oozing fluid.

Belated good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. In for some ice water.
Need to run a couple of propane bottles down the road to the farm & building supply store to get them filled after a few minutes of re-hydration.

Not to worry Roy, I'm going to go with a black funny looking long gun with a handle on it and the appropriate "dress for effect", in addition to the sidearm, should make for an interestingly honest quote...I hope.
