Shotgun Creek would be a heck of a lot closer to home. I was thinking about you a few months ago when the BS down in Harney County erupted. Had a cousin (who lives down there) and some former LEO colleagues caught up right in the thick of things.
Yes, our Lane County LEOs I work with went over there for a while. We weren't allowed to leave the office at all for a week and had to go out in pairs for two weeks after that. It made it very difficult to do my job because we only had two people doing recreation field work at the time.
Seems like a long day....we did get some rain though, so that will help.
I did get a chance to start on the transmission late this afternoon, but didn't get very far along.
hope everyone has a good Monday.
Even that is some thing I'm open too we just need to figure out when.
You did see that there is a GTG coming up in a few weeks?
Yes, unfortunately I'll have out of state family in town to see the baby and I have a ton of work to get done around the new house. If it was closer I'd be able to sneak away for a while...
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 52.3, still overcast, but the fortune tellers are saying it is going to be drying out for a couple of days.
After our Eastern Front recon this morning, I might get to perform some more sculpturing on the Laurel Hedge.

I think a wet side GTG at a Lake with a mandatory requirement of fishing poles would be a great idea for a little later in the summer. My schedule is a little iffy at the moment with the MIL in hospice. Detroit Lake has lots of options and lots of campgrounds and is somewhat centralized...
The good lord willing and the creeks don't run dry, (my mother and the MIL willing) we will be at Diamond Lake for 2 weeks beginning the end of June...
Belated good morning folks, long day yesterday helping my Mom.

I was thinking with a new little one it would be tough.
