2007 f250, not sure of history, had for about a year 190k miles
started about a week ago taking longer than it normally does to start. replaced batteries, tested FICM, bought a scan gauge and checked all the pids.
takes about 5-8 seconds of cranking then starts, but once EOT gets to 190, it will crank right away like normal. Wondering if its the dummy plugs, stand pipes or the STC fitting.
Whats a better way to diagnose it down further?
+1^, posting more engine parameter numbers would help.
Actual ICP and ICP volts and IPR %DC during the long crank. Engine rpm's during the long crank?
Also FICM MPower, VPower and LPower volts (cold engine and also once it wwarms up).
first thing this morning after sitting all night
KOEO
FMP-48.5-49
IPR 14.8 jumped to 84, guess I never watched it before on crank
v power 12.1
FLP 12
ICP .29 went to 1.8 on crank and stayed after firing
engine rpms hit about 850 once it fired
once the icp hit 500 it fires
gonna wait a little till it warms up to check the numbers hot, but it looks like the ipr % is the big takeaway.
where should i go from here?
appreciate the help Bismic, from what I have read on these forums you do a lot to help us out.

Reason: spelling
I think you are on the right track to pull the IPR. The delayed start until it hits 500 psig indicates issues in your high pressure oil system, but as navistarnut said, HPO leaks will make it harder to start when you have a hot engine. Let is know what you find after pulling the valve.
