V10 Failures

Is there by chance anyone out here that runs a fleet of 2013 SD V10s with serious engine failures?

I have a fleet of 2011 and 2013 F450 SDs with the 6.8 liter V10. Right now, I am experiencing a high failure rate in the 2013's staring with what seems to be rocker failure on the # 4 and 5 cylinder.

Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this out there.

Failures (36 of them) have occurred between 25k and 57k miles.

Thanks.

Wow! Hopefully one of the Ford customer service reps will see this post and respond. They do monitor the site.

Welcome to the forum, Fleetguy48138! I recommend getting in touch with my Ford Fleet colleagues. They can be reached at 1-800-343-5338; I know they'll want to do all they can to assist.

I have been trying that route since February. I have asked my DSM to please escalate this to someone with a Director or VP title to no avail. I have re worked my entire maintenance program around their recommendations, to show that I am willing to work with them closely on this issue, with no change in the outcome. When you lose 74% of a like fleet to the same issue, there is a problem. This issue has happened to only 1 of my 2011's, but the equivalent mileage at time or failure was 300,000+

Just learned I have yet another one this AM.

If anyone had an email address or contact for someone higher than what is listed in the "fleet guide" that would be great.

X2! If you are not getting any help from Ford, maybe a different avenue of persuasion is needed. Especially with the failure rate you are experiencing.

Maybe you need to read the FTE guidelines again. We're a truck forum, not a legal one. Legal talk isn't allowed here.

I'm trying to terminate my FTE account, but can't find any way to do it. What am I missing?
