Larry, I changed that same sensor at least twice in the almost 200K that I had on my last truck.
It seemed like it just turned on that engine light. I couldn't tell a difference in the way the truck ran, or mileage. But I hate seeing that engine light on.
Bob, I think that's why they make black tape. So you can cover up that pesky engine light and never worry about it again.

I still have what seems to be a major front end issue with my excursion. I have a bent linkage arm and I think the steering box is fubar. Plus my springs are shot front and rear. So I'm deciding if I want to do a V/B code swap or put a mild lift on it.
And no one wants to fix the clutch on my wife's pony. Everyone just wants to replace the whole unit. Costs more then the dang car to do that.

I didn't notice anything other than the light either.
Found the old blade for the weedeater yesterday and cleared some brush from around tree's and cut low hanging limbs that were a pain in the *** to cut grass under. Then had a old pile of leaves to burn so piled some green limbs on top and started burning.
