I have to admit that I'm a little spoiled living only 7 miles from the lake. It doesn't take but a few minutes to get there and when I leave I don't have a long tiring drive getting back home. Hopefully I'll be going again next week for a couple of days.

4 for 300 aint a bad price.. when i looked at them for another truck i think they were $280 each.. if thats a pic of the ones your buying they look in great shape..
do the tires come with??

Josh that sounds like a pretty good deal for a full set of wheels. And American Racing makes some nice stuff. As long as they aren't trashed, I'd say go for it

I went ahead and picked them up. Found the wheels online through the NC Facebook page for the Old Body Style (OBS) ford trucks website, and it turns out I used to work with the guy back at the MB dealership on Capital. It's a small world.

Yep, the tires came with. One is good, the rest are worn out. THere is no curb rash on the wheels and the outside looks good. One wheel has a score on the inside from where a brake caliper pin rode against it for a while. I'll pressure wash them, hopefully this weekend and see how they look afterward. I'll need to find some center caps though, for the front axle.

Sounds like you came out pretty good Josh

I had my 6 month check up with the surgeon that did thumb this last January. I got a full release, everything healed just fine

Just finished cleaning the grease mess out of the propane grill. Time to pop a couple/few tops and get that chicken breast that I covered in dry rub, stuffed with cream cheese and Chives, then wrapped with BACON in there with some Apple wood for a little smoke taste.
