Good mornen everybody, ya, ya, me too, but I'm trying to wake up still. I've only had half a pot of coffee, but I'm trying.
Today we get our meat bought and covered in dry rub for the BBQ tomorrow, also a batch of my beans to get made so they can go in the smoker with ribs, and chicken.
Hope y'all have a good Independence Day tomorrow

It was on the local news a couple of nights ago. They said that basically it's illegal in every county in the state. Everything but Sparklers. Yes even a good Sparkler Bomb.
I know Apex is watching out for people shooting fireworks. A $500 fine, and possible jail time.
Guess we're just doing our BBQ, and call it good.

I haven't heard anything in the local news here. Just checked the local news site and nothing there either.
We made a flying trip to SC this morning, 3 bikes and a car hit the state line fire works to pick up a trunk load of sparklers and came home.

Well we survived our 1st (Since we moved) July 4th BBQ. We didn't have the crowd we used to have, but some showed and we sure ate nice. A few pieces of Chicken left, ribs, and beans are gone.

Made it out to Carolina Beach State Park Campground. Really liked the sites there and the quiet atmosphere. Just some tent camping.
Then took the ferry over to SouthPort for the Fourth of July festival there. The fireworks were some of the best I remember seeing, excellent seats, the only down side was the traffic out of the place. With an hour drive back to the campsite, since the Ferry had stopped running, put us there around 1:00, almost three hours after we got going.
Still I would go again, but probably just stay in SouthPort vs. an hour away. Anyway, from what I understand, it's North Carolina's 'Official' July 4th Festival.
