mustangs summer performance tires were like that when i first put them on... by time i got to the other end of the main strip they were fine.. freaked me out the first time though.. thought id put the tire on crooked lol... she grips like hell in the summer... but come winter she gets a little butt happy.. but ironically when we get snow and ice shes fine lol
Speaking of tire's, I'm going to be in the market for some replacement tire for Ka'Bluey. Now I have the military Humvee takes offs, 37x12.5x16.5 and actually like the tires.
here at the beach depends on how cold it gets... ocean tends to keep us warm enough to turn it into rain.. so most times just a couple inches and its gone in an hr or 2... but when the stars align and we get dumped on.. were usually looking at 1-3 ft.. but most times just foot or less... downside here is they dont prep the roads and dont go out to clean them up till its too late for anything to be done..
Well we decided to hit the 7am ferry out of cedar island to Ocracoke. Gonna leave the house around 5:30, should give us a couple extra hours to ride around and enjoy the outer banks. Should be a fun time.
Charcoal is heating up, then a couple of Hickory sticks, and get that Pork Shoulder in there for pulled pork tonight.
Hope everybody's been able to enjoy this SWEET weather this week.
Y'all behave
Well made the loop, was pretty damn fun made it with oit issue except my kick stand spring decided to pop off at out gas stop coming off the outer banks. Turns out I've been "laying frame" and dragging the kick stand and frame on curves and ground down the piece that holds Springs on. So it kept slipping off. I put a redneck fix on it.
So we made it back to newbern and eating some wings at BW. Oh.... and having a few drinks.
We had a total of 16 hours from leaving, to getting home 5am-9pm. Got up this morning in fixed breakfast and washed the bike! She was covered in salt and bugs.
