Here's the new 5th wheel that we picked up yesterday. It's a 2018 Cedar Creek 36CK2. Weighs 13,000lbs empty and max weight of 16,190lbs. Just a little over 40ft long. Towing it with a 2014 F350 CC, SB, SRW Powerstroke Platinum Edition with a 50gallon Titian underbed tank. We're using a Pullrite SuperGlide hitch. Truck had zero issues with this setup. Still need to get it weighed, but trailer only caused about 1inch of squat when hooked up.

I'd definitely like to see the scale ticket on that setup with a full tank of fuel
2002 carriage by Cameo, 34', on the maiden voyage to check hitch height, etc. behind 2017 F350. We upgraded from 2004 F250 ccsb with bulletproofed and tuned 6.0. The old one would handle it but the new one WOW!
2004SD I like the Cameo but then I'm baised after owning 2 Cameos with the current being 2010 34ck3. It looks a little nose high and if bothers you look at the rear springs where they mount you might be able to lower the mounting and gain 1-1.5" in rear height.
Agree with the truck, we have a 2017 F350 Super cab dually, so just a little shorter back seat. Now if we could just make our minds up regarding which 5er to buy.

Beautiful, and brings back memories. In late 2004 we bought a 2003 Cameo 31KS3. We summered in it (6 months a year) for 10 years. FANTASTIC trailer. After 10 years we traded up to a 2013 Lifestyle, which is what arose from the ashes of Carriage. This one is 37 feet, and is another great trailer. You should get a lot of years out of that rig. Carriage/Cameo made good stuff.
Make sure to check out the Carriage/Lifestyle Owners' Forum; a ton of very useful information there. If you have trouble finding it, PM me.
Yea, I've heard others say that too, Grand Design appears to be better in that department. But the dealer seems to be a big part of that equation, and my local dealer has a very good reputation (this will be our third camper from him). And he sales both Grand Design and Montana. We are looking at the Solitude 310GK and the Montana 3121RL. Heading over there this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon to look again.
