Stopped by CT trailers a couple hours ago and was pretty impressed with the Big Tex trailers they had. More expensive, but seemingly MUCH better built than the Carry-On I bought from Lowes 9 years ago. Not sure I'm going to buy a new trailer, but if I do will be looking really hard at a Big Tex.
Went to New Hampshire yesterday and looked at some fifth wheeler trailers and found one that was in our sweet spot but a little costly for the budget at present. They still have snow up in them there hills or should I say mountains.
Stopped on the way home in Meredith, NH at the Harts Turkey Farm for dinner. Yes had Turkey dinner.
Tom you are looking at Big Tex, which model?
My sons Lowe's special made a lot of runs to the dump and haul mulch, stone, lumber, lawn mowers, pavers, a shed, refrigerators, stoves, dish washers, generators, and Motorcycles. And is still running great. lol
Today more work in the front yard, and pickup some mulch with the trailer. See if the dump is open and make a dump run.
Probably not from them though, but we'll see. Looks like the manufacturer has an outlet with prices about $1,000 less than CT Trailer. Of course it's in Georgia, but I'm certainly not afraid of a little trip.
Good morning guys. Pretty nice weekend we've got going here. Could do without the wind, but I'm not going to complain. With the new house move coming up, I am on the hunt for a riding lawn mower. I'll be sticking with John Deere, but having a heck of a time deciding on a model. I'm also hoping to get the oil pump done in the truck before too long. That's always a real PITA. Hopefully it will cure the oil pressure problems though. Might just replace the oil pan while I am at it. Depends on what I find in the pan I guess.
Hope the trip isn't necessary John, but we'll see. I have emailed a few inquiries to a few other local dealers, so we'll see where that goes. I really liked Sam at Connecticut trailer, so if other local dealers come in cheaper we'll see if they're willing to deal.

How many miles are on the engine? I don't think I'd be willing to put an oil pump in an old engine, because there's a good chance the oil pump is fine and the bearings are worn out causing the low pressure.
Got my Lincoln stuck in the yard. Like a complete idiot. When the wheels spun trying to back up I tried pulling forward to try again with more momentum After about five tries I was at the wood line. Anchored to the new minivan and winched it on out. Was kind of fun though.
It was! My wife wasn't so impressed though. She rode in the Lincoln ready to hit the brakes in the event the cable broke.

Maaaaybe. If I knew I'd need to call a wrecker I would probably think twice or three times about doing something stupid. Knowing I can recover if myself means I don't really worry about it.
