Good morning everyone. The Gubbermint doesn't recognize religious holidays so we're working too. Fridays are a light day, so not a big deal.
Looks like there are some impending changes across the entire northeast that aren't good. Talking about working 50 hours M-F and then every other Saturday. Seems like a good time to move on out.
Made a cake from scratch and forgot to put in the butter. Tastes good anyway. It was my first cake from scratch. Pretty easy. I'm getting ready for camping meals and going to start cooking at the camp ground. Sounds strange to some, but we tend to eat out on weekends. Arrive on Friday afternoon and get things set at the camper then go out for diner. Saturday morning there is a great place for breakfast and the staff treats us great. This goes on most of the weekend. We do cook some breakfasts and a steak now and then for diner. Well this year I bought a smoker and we are going to get into cooking.
Today I going to finish the back yard clean up. It's been a bad winter and it took a toll on the yard and it's taking some work to get it done or maybe I'm just getting old.
Andy, my neighbor makes a pineapple cake that is out of this world, but I will look into this dump cake.
Got quite a bit done in the yard yesterday. Still more to do back there. Today I have a two seat swing wood slats have to be sanded and stained then waxed. That's today's project in the garage.
I guess there are people off work today. Should be a good morning then rain later. So get out there and enjoy.
