I read about that last night, and it's so far into left field I don't think it's worth another look. They're petitioning Congress because the DMCA wasn't written with cars in mind, and I can't imagine Congress would entertain that. I also don't think the judicial system would entertain the idea that you don't actually own the vehicle you buy and pay for.
I'm thinking this stunt was probably cooked up by someone's corporate lawyer who was bitten by the Good Idea Fairy. They were probably able to push the legal teams of the other manufacturers to get on board. That doesn't mean the good idea has a chance of ever seeing the light of day.
If they own my vehicle they should be the ones paying to fix it for the life of the vehicle until I have to return it to them, since it is theirs after all, right?
Connecticut Trailer is officially an expensive place to do business. Stopped by today to get a quote on electric brake installation and some E-track for my new trailer. They want $600 to install brakes and $6/foot for E-track. That's almost 50% more than I can get it elsewhere. After wanting to charge me 25% more for the exact trailer I bought up north.
Seem like good people and all, but you definitely pay for it.
Morning from the campground. Chilly, have the heat on. It's been running all night. Didn't even go out to the fire pit last night. Going to play with the smoker this morning.
I come down here to relax but end up doing all kinds of work and walk the dogs 3 times a day.
I have the little lap top computer here at the camp. Hard to get used to, but it does work.
Put together my order from eTrailer last night with everything we're gonna need. Almost $900 for everything. Doing it right isn't cheap I guess.
Is this for the extra parts you decided you needed? I need to get some more things for my trailer as well like additional e-track. I've been waiting for the warmer weather before starting the work.

That includes a hitch and transmission cooler for my wife's new van. The big expense is the Prodigy RF brake controller at $308. Looks to be really slick; the brake controller itself is mounted to the tongue of the trailer and is controlled via radio frequency from a portable unit in the cab. It's expensive, but means you don't need to run a bunch of wires all over the car.
Add to that two brake units, two drum/hub assemblies, and some wiring components and it adds up quick. I'm going to be installing E-track as well, but it looks like Amazon.com has the best price.
Had quite a wind come through last night. I guess it's going to be chilly today with rain tonight.
Went to get the truck washed yesterday and drove by Ray's shop. There were some broken cement tubes with spikes. Wondering if it was some type of telephone poles. Just curious.
Got to finish the mulch today and mow the lawn for the first time this year. Not my cup of tea, but I contend with the labor.
those were the light poles from the baseball field at Eastern in willimantic. the concrete poles were failing and one crashed down in the strong wind storm we had. there wont be any night games there for a while.

Try reinstalling the app. This happened to me a few months ago and that's what fixed it. Hope the new app is out soon!
