Shock Lengths

Does anyone happen to know what the lengths of the stock shocks for a 4x4 Dually both front and rear ?
I am expecting our truck delivery within 2 weeks, and I am going to replace the shocks immediately with 9000XL.

Thanks in advance.

Shocks

Roy,
Thanks, I had the rear part number, but the 024 doesn't come up. I think its the 042. But with that being said, looking at all the lengths, you can select different ones to ensure you have the proper length, in case you do or anticipate a leveling kit. I only want to buy one set.

Thanks for the info. I like what you have done with yours.

Had the same issue when I ordered mine. Matt from Rancho looked up and verified the information for me.

Rancho shows nothing for an 2015+ F450. I was wondering if the F350s were interchangable with the F450 running Dana 130 axles.

Iron, I looked into this for one of my clients while back who wanted to put Rancho's on his 450. What I found out was the shocks on a 450 are valved different and carry a different weight rating. Rancho does not recommend them for that reason, but Bilstein and FOX do it for the 450/550 series, lot of truck and you need a lot of shock...

Dear Dually Driving Colleagues,

Anybody here running an in bed auxilliary fuel tank/tool bax combo?
If so what brand/model?

I have my eye on a particular one (that shall remain nameless for now), am seeking some feedback from you on what works for you and why?

Best regards,

Mark,
This is the one I will be installing when my truck comes in. I wanted narrow to keep my bed length. They make several sizes. Several friends have this system and they swear by it. It has a controller than not only is a bar gauge bit also will auto fill at about 1/2 tank on main tank. Another benefit is they are local for me.

I am getting the smooth panel, lined inside (toolbox) and out with controller.

I have the RDS 60 gal, toolbox tank. Fits under the cover, and it's great! Put all my few chocks and aux air hose in the toolbox. Can go about 1000 miles towing, and unhook, then get fuel later without the trailer.

I ordered mine custom made to my dimensions from KSH Marine in Lake Havasu City, AZ, 80 gal L-Shaped fuel tank with a custom built toolbox that is 15" deep, 60" long and 26" wide all in marine grade diamond plate. I looked at everything I could find on the market and nobody made anything with a decent size toolbox.

I put in a 91 Gal Aux tank with a shallow tool box on top.....that I repositioned to accommodate a tonneau cover.

Go to my Jolly Green thread.....Many mods to my 2015 F-350 cc lb DRW.....

This turned out to be a Fantastic mod to the truck.........The trip to Alaska this last summer was much nicer because of it.

I have been looking at the Fuelbox FTC60 Fuelbox FTC60 | The Fuelbox I am waiting on my 350 with 8' box that is replacing a 150 with 6.5' box. My thought is I will have the same bed space in the new truck that I have in the old. The FTC60 is a 57 gallon tank so extends my range by more than twice. Because we don't do but 450-500 a day that is good for us.

I wish I had had the time to get an auxiliary fuel tank and installed it on Big-Foot... While getting out and walking around every couple hundred miles is okay - I had run it down to the point where I was ready to pull over and dump in the two 5 gallon jugs of fuel that I carry... At 7.2 MPG, it doesn't go very far with the big tank..

yeh, gets un-nervy sometimes.

another thing we did this last trip was to notice we'd be low in a higher fuel cost area (ontario canada), and filled up in the states before hand, so we could avoid that fuel stop altogether.
