I found this thread when I first started looking for my springs. I was able to verify the "X code" part number on mine with this list. Hopefully it helps.
where you get the xcodes akex? is the xcode listed on the springs itself?
The codes are not listed on the springs themselves. There are part numbers stamped into the steel from which you can sometimes decode into spring codes by googling or asking in here. Of course, if you manage to get them off the donor vehicle, you can just look at the sticker on the door jamb but often we aren't that lucky.
I also got lucky and randomly found a set of V/B codes on craigslist. The owner didn't know what he had. I had to get him to send me pics of the stamped numbers, and figure out what they were. I paid $170 for both sets.
Oh and I paid someone to do the installation of the springs (including the mod B part) and the MBRP exhaust. It was a LOT easier that way.

What did you end up paying to have someone install them?
I had somebody do the X codes up front, I don't have breaker bars, air, floor lift, jack stands, and on and on. I normally use the craft shop on the military base where we live, but didn't have the time to do it myself. I had a local shop do the front leaf springs, sway bar ends, tie rod ends, pitman arm, and an alignment when done. They charged $719 for 6.5 hours labor (remove and install), shop materials, and the alignment when done.
