I just got my build sheet from Ford, and it does not mention any Plow package, or heavy duty front springs. The only reason I thought it had them was the PO told me it had X-codes up front, and he used it as a plow truck.
Found this info on another forum when I was searching for some other spring codes. Hopefully this will help others.

AA first design, then AB, AC, AD, etc. BA or CA would be a part that was the same function as the AA but slightly different.
Sometimes information is spotty, but here is what I found out. I needed a replacement set of springs for a 99 4x4 superduty. I eventually found a pair of new take offs which then sat unused for many years being advertised locally on craigslist, and when I called , they were only 3 miles away. Since I never saw the truck they were from, I bought them based on the correct dimensions being checked with a tape measure , along with the seller stating they were for a leaf spring superduty. Stamped on the springs on the bottom towards the rear was 2C34-5310-ADB , so after many exhaustive net searches. I found reference they are "V" code springs from a superduty truck not older than 02.
They are going on a standard cab 7.3 99 F250 4x4 pickup when ever the weather gets warmer up this way, and considering the originals are worn out 200,000 mile originals , I hope it works well.
Start by getting the part number off your springs first, then see if what the chart listing I gave matches anything, and if not, search by part number you have found.
If it does have them, then he must have added them since they are not mentioned on the factory build sheet. I would think the door tag would match the build sheet, no?
