Cary came up with a setup that works good.
On the rear, of B springs
He removes the top overload spring and block because they interfere w cooling lines, but adds the bottom two springs from the ex pack (not the slapper spring) and uses the thicker aluminum spacers from the ex pack between each leaf rather than the super thin ones from the b pack.
Or simply the "typical" B mod as we have been calling it here for years. It's very popular around here! [/QUOTE
Sounds good, your ex is what I referred back and forth too as to what I wanted to do to mine.
Nice work!
Thanks, we really are very happy with the work we have done on ours.
Your EX is looking very good now too, nice job! And I sent some reps your way for the kind words.
Well, a big thanks to you!
It definitely is a big improvement over stock stuff. I don't get quite as much crosswind over here, but I can't stand the rear sagging with just my large family in the car or the front end hammering down over a little speed bump.
I really like how the Ex looks with the B Codes on in the back. I recently completed the X codes, track arm, and some new front sway bar pieces up front. I gained a few inches, almost exactly as the front spring chart lists out. I'm about 1.5" higher in front. Trying to get into the auto craft shop on base this Friday to do the rear B codes with the mod. "Maybe" the front dual Fox setup will be in by then. It was back-ordered when I ordered it.
