There seems to be a lot of extra turbos around here all of a sudden. A friend of mine just scooped my old one. His was doing the same as yours. I ended up giving him a box full of old parts that came off mine.
Mine failed in Aarons driveway last September, and we swapped it out right there. If it was going to go, I wouldn't have wanted it to go anywhere else. lol. But now he always jokes how he has an extra in case I need it. lol.
If you hang around enough Phil I do funny too lol.
I was just saying I have my old one here hanging out..no worries..I have a bunch of SD crap too.. But I can't give that junk away...may need it for something.?!?!?! Never know..
Well got the butterfly out of the EVBP last night, and new freeze plugs installed. Now I'm playing the parts waiting game again. There is plenty I can be doing, but motivition is the issue. 30s and 40s for high temps this week. I thought this was spring...
I think Insted of reassembling the cab, I'm going to go for the new mounts. I was going to wait till later, but I figure the hardest part is already done (getting the bolts out, so, may as well finish.
Other than that, nothing new to report really. Just trying to do as much as I can while I have it apart this far.
Haha, you're falling down the rabbit hole Thomas! No telling what will happen by the time you surface again.
Well it wont be as exciting as what you and Aaron have going on, but steadfast reliability is what I'm after. Maybe down the line I'll start with the performance mods.

The hole keeps getting deeper, Glenn. And the wallet keeps getting lighter. But nothing like taking pride in doing the work yourself. And knowing you made your truck better for it.
Also another question. I need to drill a new hole in the manifold for the pyro. I was looking to change it to the screw in type. Mine was held in with a hose clamp. I was wondering where I could find this kit. Maybe I'm blind??
