I used a 6" long piece of 3" exh pipe,7/16 all thread and nut ,and a bar across the back.as my extractor and it came apart well. Glenn has a method but I have not tried it. I'm not sure on the rad support ones being the same.do one side at a time.the cab won't slide then.
Great white is looking good as always camera man lol!
Looking good! Are you going with Poly cab mount bushings or did you get the OEM style rubber ones? It seems there is a love/hate relationship with the Poly bushings, so I'm curious to hear what you think once you're done (if you are going Poly).
Awesome Thomas. I'm gonna need to do cab mounts as well. Mines lookin pretty saggy. Hopefully the new up pipe will go in as easy as it came out
That is my hope. Mine is saggy in the back, and after seeing the front mount they defiantly need to be done.

Thank you Glenn! I need to get to work on shining it all up, I got a little lazy with that.

I have poly ones, they came with the truck. I'm curios too. I think I'll have about every last bit of rubber replaced on this truck by the time this is all said and done.
Let me know how you like the poly bushings. I had always figured on using those in mine, but having heard some of the comments about them, I'm second guessing that decision. I had full poly spring bushings in the old truck and I couldn't complain. It definitely tightened it up from the old bombed out rubber bushings that were in there.
Saw oil sitting in the cold side, so decided to pull the cover and found this. Should I be concerned? I don't want a repeat of what happened at Aaron's backin September. Wheel has no in and out movement but does have some side to side. Maybe I'm just paranoid?

Hey Thomas,
A little bit of side to side is normal. The journal bearings ride on a film of oil, so when there isnt oil pressure, there may be a pubic hair of movement in there (the space that the oil will take up when truck is running).
As for the oil in the compressor housing, have you done the CCV mod? Stock truck routes CCV right into intake tube. That means oil in the compressor housing (and intercooler boots/tubes/intercooler if you have one) .
Honestly I think if I were in your shoes I'd get it done. If that seal blows out you Gould go through a fair amount of oil before noticing and you've already got the turbo out anyway. I think if you put it back in you running it on borrowed time.
