I have a 1979 f100 long bed and i replaced the transmission neutral switch on a c6 trans. now the backup lights come on when the shifter is in neutral. how do a correct this problem?
With the engine off, wheels chocked, and tranny in neutral, loosen the neutral start switch and insert a straightened paperclip into the alignment hole. Tighten. Test. Report your results.
