Good morning everybody. Busy day here in the office and even busier in the shop. I've knuckled down on the help and they no longer work on their own, it's amazing how much more gets accomplished when I'm working with them.
I heard the Monte run before I came home for lunch. Of course it couldn't be that simple. Some jack hole put 3" long exhaust studs on the manifolds and one of them found it's way through the heater box and in to the heater core.
Luckily, G-bodies are pretty easy to do a heater core in.
It'll have to wait. I have to figure out why that dang Porsche we sold suddenly decided to start overheating.
dang alan thats a bummer about the heater core and the porshe..
i managed to get a little done today.. made the new steel brake lines, then played with the a/c unit some. the unit i had was full of dirt dobers ...good thing i sealed the lines when i put it up so its all just cosmetic type cleaning. then i let dustyn help me fabricate the a/c compressor bracket.. i designed it then let him weld it up ... it is not perfect welds but he is getting better with the mig, he loves making parts by hand now....
I got some fab time in on the C-cab. If I can get a whole day with it, I may be able to button up the front suspension on it and get the rear shock mounts done.
Where were you, Jeff?
RC. The bracket looks good. You're gonna spoil yourself putting A/C in that truck.
Working at the job or the shop Friday Alan? I was going to come down and get some of the stuff out of the way. Calipers, and at least the front shocks.
good morning missouri... i need to go to the yard and get a few more parts.. maybe it will stay a little on the cool side for me.... it has been getting fairly warm in the late afternoon
just seen this.. wish i would of had more time.. it is not to far away for me..
