Not sure if I hit enter on a post I was asking about....lol
Skyjacker shocks are what I want to go with. I have had real good luck with them dating back to the late 80s on Jeeps. I have come to a road block though.....Are there different front and back shocks? I have always ordered the shocks and had no issues. but it seems like on some sites, that there is some sort of difference in them and on some sites they dont state any difference at all.......I am ready to hit "buy it now" and am just wanting to make sure I am getting the right suckers....any ideas??
sorry i cant help ya jeff.. i always thought shocks were shocks.. but i guess they do make different shocks for different applications..

GOOD MORNING MISSOURI
Hope everybody is feeling well.
Half way through the coffee pot and can open the second eye.
Waiting for the phone call to finish up the sell of the wrecked Escort. This was supposed to be a done deal Saturday. But the owner of the tow company decided he wasn't going to meet the buyer at noon like he said he would. But he did also give me 5 free day's of storage. I sure hope he isn't trying to run a tab on that part too.
Weather is on our side this week, so the yard will get mowed and trimmed too.
Y'all behave
Jeff. As far as absorbtion rate, the shocks are the same. They're 50/50's. As far as the actual shock, they're different. The front shocks have a stud mount top and bottom. The rear shock has a stud mount on the top and an eyelet on the bottom.
I have some running around to do today, but then I'm gonna button up the diesel. It'll get new ball joints and brake hoses and see if I can get a better brake pedal. I'm pretty sure it needs wheel cylinders, too. I'll check to be sure.
Oh, Jeff. You didn't get me any u-joints for the front shaft. .....so I did. It's a real 4x4 now.
I get to cruise the Dodge around today. I guess Cora ran all the gas out of it, so she left it and got a ride to school. Maybe Alice can stay clean a little longer.
I got some running around done today and the driver's side ball joints and brake hose done on Bandit. I didn't have time to do the other side, but tomorrow's another day.
rich if i had any extra cash laying around that truck would be at my house right now.. i need to sell my chevy truck so i can have some "liquid assets" to play with..
alan when you get jeffs truck out, and rich's projects done we need to talk.. i dont think i have the time to get my 82 chevy ready for the 4x4 jamboree unless i start cutting corners somewhere..and i just have trouble drawing a line on where to stop when i work on things
