Well, Crap!

Another month into the year that seems like it was only a week long.

I need to get some of these headaches out of the shop. I think today or tomorrow I'm going to rearrange the shop and put the '57 where Bandit is and Bandit closer to the door.

I HAVE GOT to get back on the C-cab.

Top of the day to ya Missouri! Yep, I'm still kicking and figured I better say hello...it's only been 5 months lol!
I read through the April thread and glad to see everyone is well and busy for the most part.

The winter months was very hectic for me with regular work plus snow removal...not complaining just busy busy!

So far this year has been very good to me, I've come across some really good deals on both my jeep xj and the S-cab!

More to come later if interested...my lunch break is about over.
Good day to all!

Evening All!

I got the rest of the Ranger I painted buffed out today. It looks like a different truck with very minimal work put in. We also spent a few hours rearranging the lot so we have some room now. The lot isn't that big, but we still have 30 cars on it, and that doesn't include the cars at the detailers and body shop.

I got a door glass put in another Ranger at my shop and FINALLY got the new cats in the Dodge tonight. I also dropped the angle grinder and managed to take a chunk out of the back of my hand. ......oops.

The Dodge is MUCH quieter now, but I still have to replace a bad exhaust donut. The back pressure from the bad cats blew one of them out. It should sound and run like a new one after I get that done. Now I just have to keep alcohol gas out of it so my new cats don't melt down.

Here is my day at work....all the way past the close gate gap to the far away 90 degree gate gap, and then the other direction all the way to the barn.

The x bro-inlaw (with a don't be taking pics just get back to tying fence look) lol And the set up in the back ground is what ya have to have to roll out 100lbs rolls of woven wire quickly or 5 rolls of barb wire at once.

Back to Spg for Penny's mom's surgery tomorrow, fingers X'ed it goes ok, I am sure it will.

Good luck to Penny's mom tomorrow. You'll be forced to sit still for a bit Mr Workhorse.

good morning missouri.. good luck with your ma in law rich.. glad to hear ya get a chance to rest awhile.. alan power tools are dangerous ya know.... speaking of hanging onto grinders that is what i spent part of the day doing yesterday too..i got the firewall and door frames on the 71 f100 stripped down and ready for paint . i also had to take a set of spindles and steering arms off a 47 gmc front axle .. those old king pins dont just fall out ya know.... got it all done and while putting away tools i stepped on a frt. hub and somehow tweeked my foot.. finished the day at the yard trying to get a few parts off and it was hard to just walk around..i got up this morning and cant put weight on my foot without severe pain...i wanted to get the firewall painted today on the 71 so i need to figure a way i can hobble around without using my foot.. it is going to take some thought..

what a frt. axle in pieces looks like .. alan we could use this to build a gasser ha ha ha ha
