There is a local Dodge guy that thinks road diesel is red. See him way to often when I'm refueling.
I keep wanting a state trooper to be at the station someday to see it.

See, that right there is what makes me believe that fuel companies put additives in fuel that disperse rather than remove water from diesel. I'm at 43,000 + miles and have never found a single droplet of water.

I have traveled WY, CO, SD, NE, KS, OK, IL, MO, IA, MN. I can't believe that I have never gotten any water yet. The bio-diesel I had to buy in IA made me nervous. I was out of fuel and didn't have any other options. That's why I now carry three 5 gal. fuel jugs with me now when I"m on the road.

I was just being a smart azz...........

It is not worth the fines............

I remember when I was stationed in Brunswick Maine...(1984-1986) some fuel farm folks would fuel up their cars with Avgas.....(green) One day.....cars were being inspected at the gate.......Some folks became very unhappy.......

I got my year end statement from Pacific Pride my local card lock and it said I had bought a tank of Bio-Diesel. I called them up and informed them I had never bought Bio-Diesel, they informed me that I must have bought diesel in Oregon as theirs is mixed, I think he told me 5% Bio-Diesel.

I wonder if the off-road diesel has higher Sulfur then the on-road stuff?

New tractors require ULSD so it's the same fuel except dyed, at least at the major brand fuel stations.
