After a week in Florida for medical appointments, I flew back to Ontario and SWMBO had bought a Honda Big Ruckus scooter - in Wisconsin! That meant a 656 mile/1056 kilometer trip one way to pick it up. She had rented a U-Haul trailer so I hooked it up and away we went. We traveled through, Ontario, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. We picked the scooter up and loaded it into the trailer. She registered it in Wisconsin so that she could legally ride it in Canada. On the way back, we spent the night in Sardia, Ontario and enjoyed the city celebrating Canada Day (and my birthday). On the trip saw Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Erie. Sarnia is on the St Clare River just across from the US.
The St. Clair River is a 40.5-mile-long river in central North America which drains Lake Huron into Lake St Clair, forming part of the international boundary between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of Michigan. The river is a significant component in the Great Lakes Waterway, with shipping channels permitting cargo vessels to travel between the upper and lower Great Lakes. The Detroit River drains Lake St Clair into Lake Erie.
This is our route.
Here is our transportation.

I wish we had planned to stay overnight in that area and taken another day to come home to Milton. But our objective was to be in Canada for Canada Day.
