I'm sure rethinking my move from Michigan to Florida. Now I don't have to get up an hour early for work to clear the driveway so I can get out. Then reclear it since the snow plow buried it again while I was showering. And the THREE HOUR each way commute when it snowed. And being cold all winter long. And going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. And the sun not shining because of clouds for three or four MONTHS straight. And losing power from ice storms. And idiots that can't drive each time it snows, though we do have the same problem here with drivers and rain.
come on, its good stuff..
It looks all pretty when it falls,
It gives you an opertunity to actually need 4wd.
You can track where your dog has been in the back yard, and see if he is getting enough water..
The kids actually get snow days
On Quarter beer night, police cant tell if you are swerving, or slipping
You dont need coolers
If you own a snowmobile, you can use it
I miss ice fishing in NJ.
tipup! And trying to scurry over to pull it in.. fun when i was young..
Going to sw colorado on jan 1, already called to have driveway plowed on our mtn driveway, at 9k ft.
Where are you going in Colorado? I lived out there waaaaay back when. Lived in Breckenridge. Loved it but I don't know that I'd want to deal with that white stuff anymore. I tend to agree with Mark about living here in the South.
We own land near ouray and ridgway. Got a barn and camper setup. Think we'll sleep in the barn (2.5 car garage) on our air mattress and enjoy our wood burning stove.
Typical winter is 14 ft of snow, it packs down to about 4-5 ft.. lucky, it's early and they road guy will keep our access cleared until we leave.
