And now your (Stevaroo's) friends in the Florida panhandle have it too! At least in pictures....
Do I see that correctly and you live on a lake?
No, not on a lake. I can see how you'd think that by one of those pics. I'm about 15 minutes west of Indianapolis. Not on the water at all, but have some close by when I have an itch to go fishing.
Just liked the area - close to the Gulf - 12 miles actually but 115 feet above sea level - ready to escape the harsh winters of NJ but will still have the seasons in this part of Florida.
Also wanted to escape the taxes of NJ - found some land and going to build a house - looking forward to it.

Have you made it to Florida yet? I'm trying to figure out who to blame for all of this cold weather in the panhandle. 22-25 degrees before Thanksgiving is just insane.
I'll be driving past Dunellon (albeit a few miles East on I-75) Sunday. I'll be sure and wave as I go past!
Yes - I've arrived safe and sound and apparently with a trailer load of freezing weather. all I can say is what the heck is going on - but as long as we don't get snow I guess I will be happy.
I did not go further south in Florida because I did want to have a little bit of a change of seasons still, but this is just nuts, was 29 degrees over night - in Florida. Just not right !
Hope you get thru that snow - pictures of 5 feet of solid snow - not just a snow drift is just amazing - I don't know how people do it up there. Travel safe my friend.
