For you Crew Cab addicts:
Below is an ad I came across this morning for a 1976 Ford F350 longbed Crew Cab pickup. These can be easily converted to 4x4 with perseverence.
First of this does NOT run, what you see is what you get. That said, you are going to need a trailer and probably a winch.
This is an all-original 1961 Styleside F100 4x4 and it is EXTREMELY RARE. The reason this truck is so rare, is that 1961 was the only year of the fourth-generation F-series where Ford made more* Flareside (stepside) models than Styleside models. In 1961 there were only 255 Styleside 4x4 F100 trucks made. I would be very surprised if even half of those still exist.
The majority of the rust is surface rust, there are a couple small places where it a little worse but well within the ability to repair. The driver side mirror is missing, even though that was an option to begin with. I was the one who stripped the interior when i started to work on it, before i realized how rare it was. The worse part in my opinion is the bed lining it starting to lift towards the rear of the box. Other than that the body is very straight
I have the ability to rebuild this truck; unfortunately, I don’t have the money or time to restore this truck. As much as I would love to keep it, a truck that they only originally made 255 of really deserves to be restored.
1973 F350
390 motor with automatic transmission
Factory AC Truck
This is a rare gem
Add it to your collection or use it as a daily driver
Runs and drives great
Assuming they're real of course, and not just some more Chinesium thrown in old boxes after the new ones got themselves installed. Or even sold separately.
The sound and tone of the ad do make it sound legit however. I'm just cynical a lot about internet for-sale stuff these days.
