dodge makes sense, I had an 88 gmc with wheels that look alot like that but were 6 lug and was trying to figure out how and why someone would put them on a ford

No, but I have A/C so I never needed to open them up fully to get the full air blast anyway.
I just wanted a way to have the window rolled down a fairly sizable amount and not get rain in.

I would have gone for a slimmer model if it had been available at the time, but I did not find any.
