Fuggly.........I stand corrected and retract my opinion. Kina really different and after going to the other thread and looking at all the other pics showing the bed and body lines in a way better light, them wide beds are not so bad looking.

That is true! They are more of an oddity, made some 1000-1500 if I recall correctly. You remember the name? Was a couple big write ups in our forums about this time last year.

Looks like something stole off the side of a van and some ugly tail lights off something else and cobbed together , fuggly times two.

I am changing my opinion, they are really just different looking.

Lol, yeah. All I remember is they were hand built and put on new or newer rigs to obtain style side with dually. Tail lights were new pinto, M-2 or something of the sort. Figured if anyone recalled the name of em it’d be you. They are rather unattractive yes but, still a collectible aftermarket part. The history and rarity is rather interesting though.

l would call it the Cargo Bed because all those built-in storage compartments remind me of cargo pants.

Called the Outrider! I remember seeing this thread a while ago by the owners son. Can someone please tag him? He hasn’t been on the forum in most of a year but he was looking for a surviving one to show his father.

See thread here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...er-pickup.html

Right. That’s the one I was talking to someone about. Appreciate the lookup, I was dumbfounded but pretty sure of the name. I don’t know why I couldn’t find it, thanks.

Like I said tho, it is weird and an oddity which makes it collectible. If I had more room I’d buy this one as it’s just down the road and pretty sure there’s value in it.

I’m in the same boat. I would love to own one just because of the history. I’m in the middle of buying a house so I’m on a strict no-more-trucks policy for a couple months.

Just wanted to inform the world wide web of this gem. I have too many trucks right now, but I had to do my duty and try help this thing out. I figured this would be the best platform to reach people who think like me and might want to save a nice super camper special. I swear it's not mine, I'm not trying to make a sale, and I don't think this guy knows he's got a super. Hopefully one of you is interested and around the Minnesota area. Just don't want her to end up in the wrong hands 😅 Sorry for being a nut, but I love me some Ford trucks! Here's the Craigslist ad: https://brainerd.craigslist.org/cto/...412119522.html

I love it when owners want to say it’s going to a crusher if it doesn’t sale and then want a small fortune for said vehicle. We all know crushing a vehicle is not that profitable so quit with the threat of crushing and just say you want to sell it. Maybe use the stand by must see to believe, Love that one also or I don’t really need to sell just testing the waters blah blah blah!!! Ok, stepping off of the soap box.

That's a good price for that truck, as long as it isn't rusted out.
