Buyer beware with that 460, my dad has a '69 MKIII with a 460, some Lincoln parts are specific to only Lincoln. If it a 462 block I believe they are internally balanced. The P/S pump is crank driven behind the harmonic balance and it also runs the wipers??? Short water pump, and about 6.3 miles of vacuum lines. What a pain in the backside trying to find the replacements. But it is 10.5 to 1 comp, 385hp and 480 ft/lb tq so that will throw your head back.
Truck starts right up, runs and drives fine, dumps fine, lights work, all gauges except fuel work. Ford F700 single axle dump truck, really heavy duty springs and towing capacity and also not been around salt. 5 speed with 2 speed axle makes 10 gears manual shift. Engine runs perfect, transmission fine other than 2 speed axle switch just stopped working loose wire more than likly. Has pea shooter in tail gate door very handy for dumping controlled amounts into specific areas. Shows only 8k miles. Truck is a one owner truck except being transferred to me to sell.
Bed is in great shape for age, no dents in bed, some rust holes along bottom rolled edges on each side.
