First how good does it work compared to a Garmin or other stand alone GPS and if you don't keep the SIRIUS Travel & Traffic link will it still work as a GPS, at $910 it's kind of a pricey option.

Works great IMO, but so do the stand alone Garmin units. I like the fact that everything's integrated into the truck vs something hanging in the windshield.
I love mine. Before I got this truck, I had sworn off having an OEM built-in Nav system because I had always used my Garmin and was pleased with it. When I found this truck, it had the Nav system in it and had everything else I wanted so I caved in and bought it.
After my initial SIRIUS subscription ran out, I was without SIRIUS or Travel Link for about three months before I renewed. During that time, the nav worked just fine. The only things you won't have without Travel Link are the gas prices, movie times, etc. that are part of that.
As far as the navigation portion of it goes, I've found it to be just about as accurate as the Garmin. The drawback is that the map updates are pricey whereas with the Garmin, I bought lifetime updates for around $100. I can't remember the exact price but I think the NavTeq update is around $199 and it isn't a lifetime update.
I like the stock navigation too! I have a stock unit in my GM truck too. The ford one I think is easier to use. I have no negatives to say about the Ford navigation.

If you where going to order a truck would you get it The one I priced already has the screen and backup camera but I'm still on the fence when it comes to the nav system. What does the Sirius cost a month, I'm thinking $199 is a little pricey for updates.

Fortunately, you won't need to update often. If I were ordering a new truck, I'd get one for sure.
Yeah, I'm with Sammy. After having this one, if I were to order another truck, I'd definitely get it again.
The updates are pricey but like he said, you won't have to update that often. As far as the SIRIUS goes, I let mine expire and after they sent me several different offers, I ended up at $84 for one year including the Travel Link. They'll give you a good price but it takes some negotiating. But, make sure you don't sign up for auto-renewal. If you do, they automatically renew each year so there's nothing to negotiate. If you just run it year to year, you'll get flyers and cards in the mail from them offering you better deals around renewal time.
I wished I could of gotten a Ford Nav. The Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT I did
go with sucks so bad on the GPS that I have to carry my Garmin on trips.
And the Garmin does not tell you to go the wrong way onto a freeway.
