I have a 2011 F-250 with the Ford Sync Nav system. The navigation system provides sports scores, weather, and live traffic. I was never informed by the dealer of any subscriptions for this information. Will this information always be available in my truck or will some mysterious subscription one day run out?
With a Navigation system, that should be part of your Sirius Travel Link, which is part of your 6-month sirius trial.
Vehicles without navigation had access to Sync Services which provided similar information and came with a trial subscription as well.
Yeah, I found this to be the answer to my question about a month ago when my free Sirius subscription expired. Funny thing is, I had just transferred my 'Life-time Sirius subscription' to a portable unit that is now in my wife's car. I'm not even sure if I would be able to get the travel link services through a life-time membership anyways, as I know the account can not stream music from the internet or from the iphone app.
