I have these plans I drew up 30+ years ago. Making a V-4 Indian... My brother-in-law is going up to Boing Sales and Surplus in Everett to look for some aluminum blocks that I can use to make the crankcase. I intend to use the Indian pistons, and upper ends mounted to a block I make on the mill. Holly 4 bbl and twin turbos. I'm hoping for around 250-300 hp......
Wow! Just got a call from one of my good customers. He wanted a new set of brake shoes for his Cat D6B. Caterpillar told him they don't have any rebuilds and it would cost him $3,400 for new ones!!!!! I found him the pads and rivets for $340.........
Guess who's gonna do the job now...............lol And yes, I have a brake rivet machine! Old school all the way here........
Not wishing you to cry. The blocks were bought to make aluminum wheels for a "project car" Can't say who. They lost interest in the project when the economy took a poo
Got the front part of the one shed moved around. Not making much progress. Ran accross 2 cases of new vacuum tubes. We talked about those a LONG time ago, lol.
