A belated Good Evening all. Just home from our anniversary trip to the coast and a stop at the farm to check on the folks. Had pretty good weather, the crabbers are out in force making up for lost time and we did not find the ghost at the lighthouse although we did spend a lot of time looking!

 

I fit where legal to push a few a week off the road it could be worth it. The other problem is the snobs it there ubber expensive cars doing what they want to do and to 666 with ever body else, they run a stop sign and look at you whats your problem. ( yes I am waiting for my shot at one )

When it comes to some of those snobs and educated drivers of which you speak, it sometimes makes me sorry I'm retired.................it was a lot more interesting and fun when I still had a car (or motorcycle) that had red and blue lights on it along with a very loud noise maker.

 

We have some of them over here that ignore the traffic laws and it would be nice if the good old boy system broke on occasion.

 

It was interesting the day I wrote a ticket to the County D.A. for running a red light.............he personally called my boss to tell him I needed a letter in my jacket commending me for doing my job and not turning a blind eye.

 

I have to admit the good old boy has help me out but I did do some thing dangerous. Try parking an E-450 with a 16' box in these coastal towns.
These knuckle heads will not yield when they are making a left run the light because they don't want to wait push pedestrians out off the cross walk.

I guess I need to quit complaining and go to the city counsel meetings starting with Seaside and working out from there.

 

My favorite irritants are cars failing to yield when merging and speeding up to cut you off when 2 lanes one way merge to a single lane. I often wonder what they think those great big arrows and the signs saying to merge left mean................

Gave up on any hopes at red lights years ago after a fellow in a Chevy pickup ran the red light and put my police motorcycle in the junk yard and myself in the hospital. Traffic lights are nothing more than playing Russian roulette!

 

You know all the stories I have, been there seen that kind of thing.
I have been thinking of getting a dash cam and posting some of the things that goes on daily.

 

I love the people who cannot maintain 45mph on a only gently curving rural highway, then as soon as a passing zone is encountered...........It's NASCAR time!!!!

 

I just love those type...
