We have some small "cracks" in the overcast, but those are all to the east of us now. To the west is looking the same so maybe we will have some sunshine today. Wx man says it is supposed to drizzle today with periods of rain showers............
We had a couple of very nice days on the central coast and only one day of doom and gloom fog and drizzle. Rained on us coming home just enough to make a complete muddy mess out of the corridor from the log trucks.
We have a hole over us at the moment, but to the west of us is totally socked in now, so unless something changes, the sun will be going away very shortly.
Just got ahold of my Vet buddy and he's feeling better today so Harley and I will go down and spend the day working on his house. Time to get stuff done!
Have a good day Don. I've got to go back out to the farm later today to get a couple of things done and then see if I can get a duck for dinner..........................

We left our dog at home for the 3 days we were at the coast. He did not think my son made a good babysitter, has still failed to see why we could not get a pet friendly room and take him along, is still pouting and my wife and I are certainly in the dog house as far as he is concerned.
Yesterday, when we got home, he finally got out of his bed and came out to see us. He would not accept any of his treats from us initially, and when he finally took one, he took it back to his bed to eat it instead of chowing it down and begging for another like he usually does.
Loaded him in the pickup and took him for a drive and then let him run on the farm and play with his girlfriend this morning and he seems to be in much better mood. He is certainly "punishing" us though.
Evening guys! Had a good day today. Did the demo on Jerrys house. What a mess.... This contractor should have his butt kicked. A bunch.......
Structure was bad, wiring was all screwed up, insulation was all wrong. In other words we took it all down.... Tomorrow we start restructuring the whole thing. What a shame. The contractor took off with 25K of Jerrys money, and the whole thing has to come down and be redone.....
I had a short day out at the farm today. Now I've got to finish the Christmas decorations.
My wife's car got hit in the parking lot at the local grocery store. The old guy just backed right into her. She was stopped in the drive aisle waiting for a car in front of her. He got out and told her it was her fault and she should have moved. Apparently he was quite rude. Needless to say she's upset.

Don, there's one thing that you forgot to mention. Today is actually the first day of winter. The inclimate weather we had a few weeks ago was just the prequel to what a real winter is like.
Evening Tiny. Winter here on the dry side is most always done by the end of January so I'm hoping it ends early. Please don't burst my bubble.....................lol

Sorry. I've always been a pessimist. You know the old saying some say the glass is half full... Others say its half empty... I say it was twice as damn big as it needed to be.
