I've stepped many a step on that pedal!

Rivets and shoes were much cheaper back when bonded shoes were coming into vogue, and we never had much problem with them coming undone.

People could wear the friction farther, though, so that's the way it went.

And yes, I'd bet I could still arc a set of shoes as well as the next guy if I had the arc grinder and the gauges.

Haven't done it for over thirty years, though.........

Good morning Don and the Oregon gang, welcome to Friday! We lucked out, didn't get all of the freezing drizzle they predicted over night.

Should be sunny here too, but going to be cold. Have some very light snow coming down right now.

Thanks for helping out the Vet, Lord know the Federal Govt isn't, they just voted in a cut on my retirement. Thank you for 25 years of service now do with less.

I always help vets out.............

I've been watching, and you'll get it back. There are already two bills in congress to do just that.

On the lighter side I see the Mill is almost complete. I noted a difference where the chain assy was hooked up on the back of the machine the other pictures shows a enclosed shaft system.

I'm so happy I bought this mill! I noticed the differance also, but haven't found any close up's of that drive...

My Vet just canceled for today, just not feeling well, so will try tomorrow...
