For fixing three little problems that they have been trying to get the last company to fix for over 6 months. Found out about the problems on Friday, and had them fixed today!
Man it's looking more and more like the end times out there. Haven't seen more than 100yrds ahead of me because of this dang fog!
I've been working on that electric trike Don, I'll post up some pics when the fab starts. Trying to find a cheap 4 link rear suspension set up. Going to sell some of the parts off the bike I'm using as a donor to fund it since I gotta save my pennies. I'm trying to keep this a zero outa pocket project for as long as possible.
Saw a mortgage broker today and have an idea of what i can spend and almost positive I can get one. I'm trying to keep my payments as low as possible so I can get it paid off asap. May take a room mate for a year two. Maybe.
Hope everyone's right side up. It's icy out there!
Silly valley folks!
Come up here, 61 and sunny next to the river today, according to my weather station.
And I was down there shivering all day at work.
Fhew.... it looks like my coolant leak is fixed for $14. Last week coolant was all over under the hood. It looked like it was spraying out around the radiator cap when it relieved pressure. I replaced the cap and topped off the coolant.
When I drove the next day and I was really worried it was weeping somewhere because the radiator was still wet on front and it was steaming quite a bit. I watched the level of coolant and it's not dropping at all. I think with the freezing fog and running empty the radiator isn't warming enough to dry off on the front.
Evening Oregon, only one more Monday left for this month.
Hey Jack saw your post how are you doing? I have been trying to get caught up on some deferred maintenance on the car, need to keep it cheap the car is not worth much. I see no reason to sinking a bunch of money in labor into it.
Just read about your Lab Dave. How's he doing? What's going on Jack, I missed it.
Not sure the details of the philomath property. Just got sent the stuff. It's a fixer upper and looks rough by the photos. I won't step into it unless they drop the price a bunch and I can get into a rehab loan at a decent rate. Doing my best to keep the payments as low as possible. I've looked online at some Monroe properties and few just south of Corvallis. There's some stuff around. Now that I know I can get a mortgage and the rates etc I can be a bit more serious. I have till July 14 to find a place before I have to move out of here. I just need a large back yard with a fence for the Lab kids and a good size garage for my hobbies. I don't want a big house, just more to heat and clean.
