It was Allen. We went around together in the sunshine and talked with all the families up here today, and they were all happy that I was taking over, and the other company was out. I think this will work out great.

Good luck to you, Don!
I would come to help ya' but I got my own paradise too.
The old Ranger is running again with a brand new heart!
The old 2.8 is .030 over, new 38-101-4 comp cam, new alum. pistons, complete overhaul, now with ported and polished intake and heads, a 390 holley 4v sitting on a Offenhauser intake..........I can't wait till this thing is broke in so I can see what it's got!
Runs great now, but trying to baby it for the first 500 miles.

After your last couple of years I real happy for ya Dave! You can finally relax a little....
Kool on the Ranger! I was hoping I could get the 53 4X4 panel running this spring, but sadly it's gonna have to be put on hold for awhile. Someday.......

I forgot, new timing gears too, repainted the headers with VHT high heat paint.........The little V-6 looks all tricked out now!
I am keeping the 302HO for now, but may trade or sell it later........can't justify it now after sinking $1,663 on the 2.8 V-6.
Harley just had a friend give him another running RX7, and he has plans to put the 302HO Police Intercepter in this one instead of the black one he drives now. Both the cop car and the RX7 he got for free! You think he's learned anything from me?........................lol
A guy at work has a retired 2008 Crown Vic P-71 interceptor, it's dark green and still has everything but the shotgun, lights, computer and markings........It's great fun to watch people trying to act all cool when you suddenly roar up behind them, even better when they finally realize your not the sheriff.
Before I sold out my shop in Arlington, I had the maintenance contract with the OSP, and the fun I had test driving on I-84 was an absolute blast! Because they ran hi speed chases all the time, I was authorized to do high speed test runs on the interstate. All I had to do first was call dispatch on the radio and tell them where and when I was going to make the run. The best time was when we had one of only 16 special unmarked Camaros. They were made to run 180MPH, and yes, I tested them at that speed! I loved working with the State Patrol......
