We're always up for BBQ... I've got a Traeger BBQ and use it year round.
The wind farm is not a good selling point. My wife works for a natural gas affiliate.
I know the wind farm has been a Godsend for the local and even state economy. However, they are subsidized by our federal tax dollars and really aren't cost effective. Kind of like saying the plug in Prius, Leaf, Volt, etc are zero emissions... Where the hell do they think the electricity comes from that charge then up.

We had some enviormental idiots show up at a board meeting for our power company, saying they needed to shut our nuclear plant down, and replace it with wind generation. Yeah, know how many of those things they would need to replace this plant!!LOL

I'm not saying wind generation or hybrid vehicles are bad... People just need to look at the whole picture.

Personally, here's what they need to do with these people. The ones that bitch about the power plants? Shut them down, take them off the grid. See how long they're dedicated to that. Oh, and the ones that bitch about cars? Well, I guess they don't need to drive, use buses, planes, trains, etc.

This one wasn't too bad, we were done at 12:30. I'm running scoreboard or verifying times so I'm usually busy the whole time. It's great if we have one extra person so we can hand off and watch our kid when they go and then we go back to work.

How many have you dealt with freeze issues over there? My BIL had his majorly messed up when the power died on his and it didn't power back up right. He was living in LaGrande at the time and was in Australia for 3 weeks. When he got back it was frozen into a solid block.
