I've had that forgetfulness too. When we finally bought an expensive generator, I started treating the whole can of gas with Stabil. In fact, I usually put the Stabil in the can before I head to the gas station. Then everything gets treated, needed or not.
i've got a honday e-2000, and it's always had fuel treated with
stabil..... it's time for an oil change however.... it doesn't get
operated much.... sits mostly in the back of the work van.
If adding stabil to the tank on anything remember to run it for a bit to get the stabil into the entire fuel system. Dad forgot to do that and despite the stabil we fought the bad gas in the quads and the buggy until it had all run through, luckily we fire everything up a week before a trip so we were able to get everything running right before the trip
My truck died today. Suspect bad IPR. I'm gonna check electrical connections tonight after work, if I find nothing can I trouble someone for an AE check up? Steve?

You got that right. Our old floor furnace is pretty efficient, just a little bit of a hassle having to vacuum it out.
best furnace i've ever had was a gravity furnace installed in 1929.
silent, heats evenly.... and has never been replaced... you'd hear
the burner light in the middle of the night, and 5 minutes later,
there would be a warm flood of air out the registers near the baseboards,
no dust, no blowing air, and the thing heated much more
evenly than a forced air unit.
they fell out of favor, 'cause they never wear out. and you can't
air condition with one, obviously. no blower.

Back in Cali tonight, just in time to hear the sad news out east. Hug your kids and family tonight and spend a little extra time with 'em this weekend in rememberance. It's the least we can do.
Truck is acting up - very hard starting after sitting for five days. It's like the fuel is not igniting, although I finally got it started after ten or so attempts. On the last successful attempt I had to hold the accelerator to keep it running. Mechanic that replaced the fuel tank, lifting unit and fuel pump said two or three injectors need to be replaced. While that may be true, it seems like two or three bad injectors shouldn't keep the truck from starting - should they? Also, truck runs fine (as it used to) once it heats up. I don't think the Southern Cal weather is cold enough to cause start problems - do you?
I need to mess with the truck when I have more time.
Also, driving it every day would solve the issue but I've been commuting to Huntington Beach for the last five weeks and that would just be way to expensive.
Traveling next week - hope it starts when I get back.
