My neighbor house finally sold and closed escrow. It needed some work so they have had crews in there every day since the day it closed. They had a cheapo half in/half out pool in the backyard that needed to be removed. It is only about 4 feet deep with sloping sides. I've been waiting for them to start hammering out the gunnite, because my dog would probably go crazy from the noise. But they are not going to do that. They are just filling the hole with earth this morning. By hand with wheelbarrows. Some day someone is going to be pissed when they try digging back there.
Edit: Okay, that was wrong. What I thought was gunnite is just compacted stone dust. And the bobcat is on its way.
