Good morning Kyle.

Supposed to be in the upper 70's for Saturday when we are out on the lake. It's just the one full day out. Then back on Sunday morning. Maybe shorts weather this year for a change.
That should be nice weather for being on the lake!

I'm almost done varnishing the doors! I did a coat last night and another this morning before work. I've got one or two coats left on one side of a door, then I think I'll be done. They should be ready to reinstall on Saturday. It'll be nice to get that done finally. They've been hung for a couple months now, but unstained and no hardware. They look pretty dang good for $20 doors.

I'll post pictures when they're done. I'm fairly impressed with myself. Things like his don't usually turn out for me.

What's on tap for everyone today and this weekend? I won't be at the shop unfortunately. Schedule conflicts. arrgghhhh.....
Good morning Michael! Sounds like the doors are turning out good. On Saturday I am going to to help at the new shop and pick up the new ac unit for the camper. Sunday I am hoping to head to the lake again with the boat for round two.

That was my plan, if it doesn't rain. Although with Chris skipping out on Saturday, the MIL in town and a graduation party I might rearrange the schedule and get some things done around the house.

I'll let you know later this afternoon if I am going.

No, unfortunately. Have to paint the stuff I have been fabricating all week.

Paint "booth"

Fabricated panels for a trash enclosure

Gotchya! Hopefully you are not painting red. That seems to get everywhere. I am sure it's the same with other colors but the red shows up so much more.

Good luck with the paint job Mike. I've tried painting a few things, but I've never been very successful at making it look nice. That's part of why I'm surprised the doors are looking so nice.

Nice work Mike. Should be fun moving those around to paint. Big PITA getting all the sides of them. Should powder coat.

It would be for those. Or maybe build a big tack and roast them over some burning pallets

Powder Coating technologies in Plymouth did the last jr. dragster we had, which was 12.5' long. I know they've done sprint cars too. I know there are others in the cities with large ovens too.
