Well if we would have stayed there much longer today I would have been belly up and fin down for sure. Thanks to all who helped today, its a work in progress but will be nice when we get it done......
Hot day in WI today. I still have to get this number corrected for comparison, but it seems about right for a 7K# truck. I made 11 passes and this is the best. Might have a couple of hundredths left in it, but not much. Looks like this thing will need a blower and a tune someday to keep up to you diesmell guys.
Fuel economy on a race track is terrible too.
Off to dinner with the wife and hang out for the evening. Have a nice night everyone.
Yeah .. the lead in your foot will kill the mileage every time. I'm not up on track times but seems pretty good for a truck. Time for Chris to get his slip to compare.

For comparison, my 2010, 3 valve 4.6 Mustang GT rated @ 315hp went 13.86 @ 100 mph last year. I'm guessing the car weighs roughly 1/2 of my CC. And the CC is rated at 385 hp. To be less than 3 seconds behind doesn't seem too bad. I still have to dig for a website I've found in the past that uses national weather service info to calculate altitude density for each track around the country so you can input your run and it will spit our a corrected number. It was 92* when I ran that today, so a corrected number will make it look better.

And some pics of the new shop would be cool guys.
When is the next race day? Time to pound on trucks.
Thanks Troy, Cory, Michael, Mike, and Chris for all the help today!!!

Glad to help! There is a lot of work left but a little at a time and it will all get done!
Good morning Dennis, Jim, Jim and everyone else stopping by.
How is everyone doing today? Doing pretty good here. I've been up off and on since before 5. Our room has no curtains yet and the windowis paper thin. The living room window is equally thin to the point I've checked multiple times to make sure it's closed.
