Got it home about 10:30 my time. Still need a bit of attention. Brakes and power steering are the first order of business. The engine seems to run better than it did in the other one.
Well still no pics. Think I'm going to put the edelbrock intake and the 4 bbl on. That's after I replace the line to the rear brakes. It seems to be leaking. Man I love this thing.
Had 6 adults (2 that was pushing 250lb's) and 1500 pounds of supply's in "The Bronk" today. Had to bring the tires up from 26 to 32 pounds. She was pretty squirrely in the front but did great.
Ya I too luv this thing. Going camping way out in the bush in the morning. We have three rigs full for a week adventure. "The Bronk" is the primary rig hauling the bedding, tents, guns, Kids, dogs and everything that needs a soft ride and stay dry. It won't be as big a load as today but it's a heck of a lot farther over some really bad road.
Should be a good time for the kids if we get into the salmon.

Haha yeah i love my turd as well. I had someone from here tune it a while back but i had to re-change some of what he due to it not running well and sounding like popcorn coming out of the exhaust. I think the timing may be off still but i haven't warmed it up enough to look. I also have yet to start on my 4bbl intake/carb work, i have kind of been putting it off cause i need to get the intake gaskets and i am a little nervous of trying it...

That sounds like a lot of fun. Just don't hurt yourself "old man"
The intake swap is simple. I just did an intake swap on my 68, too a few hours but nothing too hard at all. Just make sure you take your time to do it right.
