Glad ya made it home Jeff. Way Cool!! Ya have lived and drove the dream of most of us. As I told ya we took a year off and toured the lower 48 in 99 and 2000. It's something that will stay with you forever. And yes I also am still planning the next trip. So I'll see ya next time if I don't make yer place first. Now go turn some wrenches. I think it may take a while to get the equipment back into shape with who knows who having worked on it to keep it going while you was out touring the country.
You the Man Jeff. Glad to know ya and to have met ya.
Hey these smiley thing are kinda cool. I'm starting to get into them. Can ya tell?
It will be hard for anyone to top your trip, Jeff! I bet it's nice to be home and in your own bed, eh? And can't wait to get back to work!? LOL Glad to have met you on your epic journey!
Well... pulled back into south Arkansas this AM. 15626 miles with only one minor problem, a transmission leak (thanks Dan), and almost 4 months of travel I have made it home.
As soon as I can figure out the conflict between my phone and laptop, I swear I'll load the rest of the pics and post a link.
Now it's time to start planning the next grand adventure
Glad to hear "we" made it back from our adventure (remember, I was forced to live vicariously through all of this). Please do post up our pictures. I'm thinking it's possible for us to drive all the way to Argentina for our next trip.
Jeff, welcome home! I'm sure it was bitter sweet coming to the end of your journey. Hope your phone and computer start getting along so we can see the rest of your storied trip.
brian...
It's in the plans Garry, but you know how plans go.....
I'm glad the extreme heat ended before I got home, I really wanted to turn around and head back north about OK when temps got up to *98. Temps are supposed to rise here this week, but I think I have my yard under control, only have another bale or two of hay to rake up I figure by the end of the week I'll be ready to go somewhere again, too many folks have already found out that I am home
Jeff
Isn't it amazing how your place got along without you? We spent 2 months in Alaska last year and much to our surprise life didn't stop while we were gone.
We also came home to record heat and wanted to turn back around and head back north.
You had a trip of a lifetime and glad you enjoyed it. Hope to meet you at Doc's. We can compare Alaska stories.

Yer welcome back here also Jeff, anytime. Sorry about all the underage Girl Scouts invading your camp site. Guys there was like 70 of them. And Jeff the only man with in 30 miles. What a scary thing that was. I moved him to one of the most remote camps on the Island and sure as heck while setting up camp here comes a guy and gal looking for a place to play. It's unbelievable what crawls out from who knows where around here when the sun comes out. And no Jeff I did not sneak back to the girl scout camp after moving you out. I did think about it though. I did tell a couple teenage boys about them. They was gone for two days and still aint talking.
Well I just got back from the shooting range and now heading for the sunny beach till the tide comes in. Its 70* here right now. And for us that is way to hot. I can't swim but do plan to get wet.
