I didn't get to watch much of the Fontana Ca. race but I understand Tony Stewart won it ...(wait) ... in a Bass Boat from Bass Pro Shops LOL !!! Sorry I just had to do that We could use the rain, but Ca. is being greedy as usual and keeping it on their side of the mountains.
Donna, are you almost done ... I hope it went well for you !!!
I hope everyone had a great and productive Sunday, mine went as planned ...NOTHING ventured ... Take care ... Dave
Hello everyone. It's been a little bit since I was last on here. Life has been crazy busy these past couple weeks, and not all for the better. BUT, here I am still at it, still breathing, still kicking, and now back to working on my old Ford again. Hope y'all had a good weekend. Stay safe out there.
Drive by check in. Hello all! I'm still alive, just had some personal issues lately and haven't been on the computer much. Hope everyone is doing well.
So my truck died in brain surgery, not only is the ECM un-repairable, another one is apparently nowhere to be found. Anyone have any suggestions besides a fiery burial?
The number I'm looking for is Y3CF-12A650-ABC. The ABC seems to be the rare part.
Good to see you are still with us!!
Donna needs you to help out with the "good looking lady" duties here.
What is your truck that needs this rare part. I searched my contacts and came up zero! Any way it can be substituted?
My idea would be to check with Skipped Link. His full time thing is repairing Ford Trucks. He might know how to get around the problem.
It's the ECM, don't know that there's any getting around that. I sent it out for a rebuild, and they told me not only is is fried beyond repair, they spent a week trying to find a replacement and were unsuccessful. For some reason the ABC version is rare, they had an A or B or C, and I've found some other combinations but not the one I have .
Donna - Congrats again on the house. I'm sure that even if you were freezing, you were happy!
Well, we had a fairly successful yard sale this past weekend. I was still hoping to get rid of most of our big stuff so I didn't have to move it when we move again, but there is always craigslist (which its all up there now. LOL). But Sat was pretty good and we had a lot of visitors and a few decent buyers. Sun was pretty dead though. Then, when I went to take our signs down at the end of the day, I found out that someone had ripped most of our signs down already. No wonders why we didn't have as many visitors on Sun! Some people are just morons. Oh well, we still did pretty well and I just got rid of 2 other things a moment ago off of CL, so we can't complain.
No rain here. It was supposed to rain this morning (Mon), but it's bright and sunny with no clouds.
I'm supposed to shoot a Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational golf tourney this weekend in North Las Vegas, but haven't heard anything about my creds yet. Plus, Fri I'm supposed to go to Streets of Willow and take my R1 (motorcycle) and do a instructional class with it by Reg Pridmore (it's his CLASS class). I can't wait! So, I have to prep the bike this week for that.
So, it's going to be a busy week. I'm also hoping to hear something about a couple of jobs this week too.
Took my Ford down to where my Brother-in-Law works and was able to use their lift and air tools to pull the third member out.
Sadly it was in more than one piece. The Pinion Bearing housing broke off and was sitting in the bottom of the housing along with a lot of little metal pieces.
Although I did finally get to make use of the Toyota!
New housing is on the way so at least I have a plan of attack.
